Sunny Hill Foundation and Musikmakarna Continue Their Collaboration for the Third Time — This Year, the Camp Takes Place in Pristina

Kosovo’s youth continue to benefit from the expertise of renowned music industry professionals through the now-annual collaboration between the Foundation and the prestigious Swedish music academy.

Pristina, July 29, 2025 – This year, as part of the Sunny Hill Festival, the collaboration between the Sunny Hill Foundation and the prestigious Swedish music academy Musikmakarna will once again take place. The songwriting and music production camp will be held from July 31 to August 2 at the iconic Dreamhouse Studios, under the guidance of renowned producer Florent Boshnjaku. Talented young people from Kosovo will have the opportunity to collaborate, compose, and explore new creative ideas under the mentorship of international music industry experts.

This initiative is grounded in the shared mission of the Sunny Hill Foundation and Musikmakarna to empower the new generation of local artists by offering access to quality education and opportunities to become part of the international music scene — creating connections and collaborations with established names in the industry.

The return of the songwriting camp to Pristina follows another major success for young musicians from Kosovo — their participation in an intensive one-week camp in Sweden in August 2024, also organized as part of the ongoing collaboration with Musikmakarna.

Musikmakarna, globally recognized as one of the top academies for songwriting and music production, has helped shape many successful names in the Swedish and international music industries. Through this partnership, the Sunny Hill Foundation is opening doors for young Kosovar artists to reach the international stage.

Musikmakarna, the Academy of Music, is the first educational institution in Sweden dedicated to songwriting and music production. The Sunny Hill Foundation is committed to supporting culture and the arts in Kosovo. By offering such opportunities, the Foundation is investing in the future of Kosovo’s musical talent
